I told people The Speech wouldn't stop speculation about Mormon beliefs

And lo and behold, in the NY Times Magazine, we're discussing whether Jesus and Satan are brothers.

Wait for the ensuing discussion in any other number of publications about magic underpants, people who had two grandmothers who were sisters, and where exactly the Garden of Eden might have been located.

Disclaimer: as most readers know, a good chunk of my family is Mormon. So suffice it to say, all of the above is offered in a non-Mormon-bashing spirit. But, there's a serious point here. Obama was the first presidential candidate of either party to top the $1 million mark in Washington state fundraising. [...] The Tuesday appearance is highlighted by a concert at the Showbox SoDo, with doors opening at 7:30. An invitation to the event prices tickets at $100, with a $25 price for students. The senator's supporting cast of musicians will include Stone Gossard, Mike Berg, Shawn Smith and Regan Harrar.i (again, my emphasis)

Oh, and yes, I am still coughing up various body parts...
